What we collect
You don’t need an account to use this site. The only thing you enter is a ZIP code. It is used to look up conditions for that location and is reflected in the page address so you can bookmark or share it.
Third-party services
To build the dashboard, our server sends the ZIP code or its approximate coordinates to the weather, tide and marine data providers listed on the Disclaimer page. Your browser also loads map tiles and radar images directly from the USGS National Map and NOAA nowCOAST, and fonts from Google Fonts; those providers receive standard request information such as your IP address.
Cookies & analytics
This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability. If analytics or ad-serving technology is added in the future, this policy will be updated first.
Advertising
The advertising banner is a labeled placement. Clicking an ad takes you to the advertiser’s website, which has its own privacy practices.
